The unique Bond® LITE & DRY® formula, pure white in color, is "thermoset" into the cloth under the industry's hightest temperatures and pressures, so that it resists transfer to glass or polished surfaces, on slightly warm surfaces and in other critical applications. It was originally developed for use in the sensitive electronics fabrication "lay-up" process that produces CCL's (copper-clad laminates) for circuit boards.
The cloth is a medium weave of 20/16 mesh (USP VI - 32 yarns/inch) cotton gauze. Bond uses only US Pharmacopoea (USP) medical-grade gauze.
A Roll is 36 inches folded to 4-ply, 9 inch width by 150 continuous yards length (equivalent to 300 standard pieces). Rolls are the most economical form of tack cloth "put-up".
